CORRY — Representatives from the local Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® organization recently stopped by D&E Machining unexpectedly to ask for the Corry manufacturer’s help in their efforts to raise awareness about domestic violence. That support included putting on a pair of red high heels and posing for a photograph.
Materials Manager Bill Draghi, Sales Manager Frank Polanski and Quality Assurance Manager Brian Swarthout (shown, from left) were happy to oblige.
“It took a minute to shake off our initial trepidation about putting on a pair of red high heels for a photograph, but we understood the importance of the cause and were pleased to offer our support,” Polanski said.
