ERIE — David J. Zimmer, President of ERIEBANK, recently announced the appointment of Gary M. Alizzeo to serve on the ERIEBANK Board of Advisors. In this capacity, he will provide leadership and guidance as ERIEBANK continues to develop in northwest Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio.
“Gary’s commitment to the Meadville community and experience with business clients will be of great benefit to our organization and, ultimately, our customers,” Zimmer said, in a press release. “We are very excited to welcome Gary’s knowledge and leadership to our board.”
Alizzeo has been a practicing attorney for over 24 years, joining Shafer Law Firm in 2004. He focuses his practice on advising business, municipal and institutional clients on strategic business matters. He is a 1991 graduate of Ithaca College and earned both his Masters of Arts and Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University in 1994.
Alizzeo has served the Crawford County community as the Solicitor for the City of Meadville and Co-Solicitor for the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Meadville. He is an EagleScout, previously served as a deacon and elder at First PresbyterianChurch in Meadville and on the Country Club Board of Directors in Meadville. Additionally, he was president of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in Crawford County.
