ERIE – The annual ACES (Americans for the Competitive Enterprise System) Luncheon, a highly anticipated event in the education community, will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. August 1 at Ambassador Conference Center. This year’s gathering promises to be a celebration of outstanding achievement and innovation in education, bringing together leaders, educators and supporters dedicated to advancing educational excellence.
The 2025 ACES Luncheon aims to recognize and honor two individuals that have made significant contributions to education through their exemplary work, dedication and innovative approaches. This year, ACES will honor two candidates: Bob and Betty Merwin Outstanding Citizen Award honoree Timothy G. NeCastro, president and CEO of Erie Insurance, and ACES Educator of the Year honoree Eric W. Louis, principal of Girard High School for the Girard School District.
During the event, ACES also will recognize accomplishments, important details and upcoming events that will highlight the organization. These awards and announcements will further promote ACES mission to grow economic education to students throughout the community.
In addition to recognizing excellence, the ACES Luncheon serves as an important forum for networking and collaboration among educators, policymakers and industry leaders committed to enhancing educational outcomes and opportunities for all.
