Portersville Valve Company, LLC, based in Portersville, Pennsylvania, and PRD Technologies LLC, based in Tallmadge, Ohio, have jointly announced their merger and plans for expansion with the goal of better servicing the existing customer base including the steel, refining, chemical, paper and coal fired power generation industries.
According to Todd Pozzuto, general manager at Portersville Valve Company, the companies — both recognized leaders in pressure relief technologies and services — will continue all operations at their plants in Portersville, Tallmadge and South Point, Ohio.
“This merger provides existing and new customers with an expanded suite of products, diagnostic testing capabilities and repair services while optimizing technician and equipment utilization during routine maintenance and major turnarounds,” explained Pozzuto. “The addition of PRD’s staff, principals and quality products provides expanded engineered sales capabilities across a broader customer base including the rapid growth upstream through midstream oil and gas markets.”
The general manager of Portersville Valve for more than 30 years, Pozzuto will direct service operations for the merged companies. Mike Whitton, the general manager of PRD Technologies, will lead the sales organization of the companies.
