What is your organization’s approach to being a good corporate citizen?
Plastek donates to many organizations, such as: American Heart, JDRF, American Cancer, school sporting events, scholarship funds, etc. Joe & Isabel Prischak has donated much to Penn State Behrend, Africa 6000 Intl (which drills water wells for those suffering in Africa).
How do you encourage your employees to give back?
We have fund-raisers for organizations such as American Heart Assoc, Relay for Life, Deployed troops whose family member works at Plastek, and other organizations. Our Employees are very responsive to these events. There have also been instances where an employee/family member, is suffering from an illness, house fire, etc that the employees will band together to help that person.
