What is your organization’s approach to being a good corporate citizen?
Eriez has never wavered from its mission statement driven by the Golden Rule. For more than 70 years, Eriez has been an integral and constructive part of the communities in which we operate. The company and employees give generously of their time, financial resources and skills to make a difference. Beyond financial support, this includes leading projects for groups such as Habitat for Humanity and Neighborhood Clean. Eriez is dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact on the well-being of our communities. Although our commitment begins at our Headquarters plant here in Erie, it reaches across the world. Our international affiliates share the same passion for service to their communities. We believe this approach produces an atmosphere where businesses and communities can work together and prosper.
How do you encourage your employees to give back?
Eriez management leads by example. We volunteer for leadership positions on non-profit boards and other community organizations, adding professional expertise in management, accounting, marketing and more. Eriez also supports a wide array of deserving charitable, social and healthcare organizations each year with generous corporate cash donations. However, more than money, Eriez management encourages and supports every staff member to devote their time, energy and best efforts to promote health and well-being, and to live the Golden Rule.
