Anyone who has survived this past winter will attest that it takes courage and determination to live in Northwest Pennsylvania. While we may not like the winters we have, our weather has actually helped to develop a culture of never giving up or throwing in the towel when things become difficult. Surviving and thriving despite circumstances is part of the fabric of Pennsylvania businesses. We may take it for granted at times, but companies that visit C&J Industries often comment about the morale and productivity of our team members. So while some people may look at our weather as a liability, it has actually helped to set us apart in the eyes of our customers.
What improvements/enhancements have you made to your facility or equipment recently?
C&J Industries has been in the tool & die and plastic injection molding business for over 53 years. In 1981 we became FDA registered and began manufacturing medical components and complete medical devices. In 2015 C&J took a big step by taking on automating medical device assemblies. With the help of our in-house M.E. Department, C&J is currently qualifying our first automated medical device assembly that consists of (6) injection molded components, two needles, O-Rings and sterile packaging (see photo below).
