Erie — To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Erie Federal Credit Union (Erie FCU) presented a $1,080 donation to the Erie City Mission.
For over a century, the Erie City Mission has helped those impacted by the effects of addictions, poverty, homelessness and lack of hope through 12 quality programs that successfully meet both immediate and long-term challenges. The charitable donation will help the “show go on” at the Erie City Mission “Bonkers 4 Jesus” summer camp program. Students will learn all about the video production process and create their own videos.
Erie FCU has designated this year as the “Year of Giving Back”. Each month, a $1,080 donation will be given to a charitable organization that has been an integral part of their 80 year history. Thus far, charitable donations of more than $3,000 have been given to local area charities.
