Manufacturing Day is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. The 2017 annual celebration, set for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, will be a spectacular event. This year’s celebration is expected to draw more than 2,000 educators, students and community leaders, and will showcase more than 80 exhibits, as well as programs and demonstrations designed for participants to experience innovative manufacturing technology in a hands-on, interactive environment.
