ERIE – Dave Zimmer, president of ERIEBANK, along with Joe Bower, president and CEO of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Julie L. Martin to vice president of Commercial Services. In this position, Martin’s primary responsibilities include supervising the Commercial Portfolio Management team and Loan Documentation specialists throughout the entire CNB Bank footprint for commercial clients throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.
In 2006, Martin began her career at ERIEBANK, a division of CNB Bank, as a Commercial Credit assistant and has been promoted to the positions of operations manager, operations officer and assistant vice president of Commercial Services.
“Julie has spent 24 years in the banking industry with half of those years at ERIEBANK,” Zimmer said, in a press release. “Her drive, dedication and knowledge has built strong relationships with customers and team members. Julie currently leads 17 employees that provide support to 41 commercial lenders throughout the Bank’s footprint. Her leadership will continue to assist the commercial lenders to go above and beyond to provide an excellent customer experience.”
Martin is a graduate of Corry Area High School and Mercyhurst College. Over the course of her employment she graduated from the CNB Leadership Institute and completed training in the following areas: Commercial Loan Documentation, The Four C’s of Exceptional Supervision, American Banking Association’s (ABA) Supervisory Training, and ABA’s Analyzing Financial Statements.
In addition to her strong commitment to her career, Martin is active in her community as a member of the Walnut Creek Middle School PTA and as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters and United Way.
