ERIE – Karl Sanchack, chief executive officer of the Erie Innovation District (EID), will be the guest speaker at the Manufacturer & Business Association’s (MBA) upcoming Eggs ‘n’ Issues briefing, starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the MBA Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street and Pittsburgh Avenue. During his presentation, Sanchack will share exciting updates on the District’s plan to make Erie an innovation hub for data science, safety and cybersecurity.
The EID, which was founded with an initial investment of a $4 million grant in 2016, is focused on creating new economic opportunity by supporting, recruiting and retaining startups through programs such as the Secure Erie Accelerator and Secure Smart City.
