PA Attorney General Candidate to be Featured at Manufacturer & Business Association’s October 8 Candidate Forum

ERIE – Heather Heidelbaugh, Republican nominee for Pennsylvania attorney general, will be the guest speaker at a candidate forum starting at 9 a.m. Thursday, October 8, at the Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street. To remain compliant with Pennsylvania COVID-19 guidelines, this briefing is only open to MBA Board and Policy Committee Members.All media are invited to attend and will have an opportunity for an interview.

The MBA has become a respected statewide business, trade and advocacy association by ensuring our members have a seat at the table when issues impacting business are discussed.”

Heidelbaugh’s work in law and policy led to her appointment to the Governor’s Commission on Judicial Appointments in 1998. In 2005, the administration of then-President George W. Bush invited her to the White House to interview for an appointment to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Two decades later, Heidelbaugh became chair of the state advisory commission on selection of a U.S. attorney, U.S. marshal and federal judiciary. Heidelbaugh is one of the most highly regarded courtroom practitioners in the country and an equity partner at her Pittsburgh firm Leech Tishman. She is running against Democratic incumbent Josh Shapiro in the general election on November 3, 2020.
