Provides Members Access to Discounted Logistics Solutions and VIP Customer Service

ERIE — The Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) and Logistics Plus Inc. (LP) today announced an agreement to provide discounted transportation and logistics services to the more than 4,000 MBA members located in Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and western New York. Through the program, MBA members will get exclusive access to preferred customer services and discounted rates for less-than-truckload (LTL), truckload, and international freight transportation; warehousing logistics services; customs brokerage solutions; and import/export trade compliance services.

“As a leading third-party logistics company, we have alliances with the top freight carriers in the industry,” says Scott Frederick, vice president of marketing for Logistics Plus. “We’ve been able to negotiate very competitive rates and contracts that we will now extend to the small and mid-sized businesses that comprise most of the MBA’s membership. We have also amped up our trademark ‘plus’ customer service to deliver a VIP experience to all members who participate in the program.”

“We are very excited to have Logistics Plus as a preferred provider,” added John Krahe, vice president for the Manufacturer & Business Association. “Our members have told us that transportation and logistics represent a significant expense for them. By partnering with Logistics Plus, we are providing access to solutions that will help members reduce costs and improve their bottom lines. Another significant benefit of utilizing this service is that it will free up key personnel to reallocate much of the time they were spending managing logistics to now work on other parts of the business operations.”
