ERIE – John Persinger, chief executive officer of the Erie Downtown Development Corporation (EDDC), will be the guest speaker at the Manufacturer & Business Association’s (MBA) Eggs ‘n’ Issues briefing starting at 8 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at the MBA’s Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street and Pittsburgh Avenue. During his presentation, Persinger will unveil plans for North Park Row and provide additional updates for its plans to revitalize downtown Erie.
Formed in 2017, the EDDC is a privately funded nonprofit organization led by a group of business and community leaders working together in the name of transformational change. The group’s core mission is to fuel economic growth through real estate development, thereby increasing the city’s tax base and providing a greater opportunity for mixed-income housing, retail, dining, arts and culture to flourish downtown.
