(Bowen), a leading Cleveland-based employee-owned architectural design firm known for its innovative approach and commitment to client success, has announced the opening of its newest office location in Erie, Pennsylvania. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in the firm’s growth, broadening its geographical reach and enhancing its capacity to serve a growing portfolio.
Jason Wieczorek, AIA heads the new studio. He comes to Bowen from JW Architecture & Design, the acclaimed firm he founded in 2020 after seeing opportunity in Erie’s market for a new architectural services provider. He and his team are responsible for notable projects including an expansion of the Erie Yacht Club, the interior renovation of Five Iron Golf and the iconic Erie sign in Bayview Park. His leadership of Bowen’s Erie office reflects a commitment to forging lasting relationships and creating great design in Western Pennsylvania.

Bowen founded the company in 1959 and served as president until his retirement in 2019. In those 60 years, Bowen grew to a nationally licensed firm with engineering and construction service capabilities. Today, Bowen is a 100-percent Employee-Owned company with Allan Renzi, AIA as president.
