What is the best piece of business advice you ever received?
This is a hard one, especially since I’m such an avid reader of business books! I think the tidbit that I’ve used the most and best describes our success as a professional service firm is “Deliver more than your customers/client expect”
What was one of the biggest challenges you’ve overcome in running your business?
These would have to do with all challenges related to a startup business, i.e. starting with ZERO clients and ZERO revenue and building to a profitable company with a sustainable business model. As the owner, you have to wear a lot more hats in the startup phase as you build your company with enough clients and revenue to support the build out of your staff. Finding the right people to represent my company and my vision was the biggest challenge so far, and it’s been the biggest reward since I get positive feedback from clients almost daily.
