Aldo Jackson, Ph.D., director of the Erie County Technical School, and Mary Bula, vice president of Collective Impact at the United Way of Erie County and project facilitator for Erie Together, presented on Career Street, a new comprehensive career exploration and planning program in Erie County, during the Manufacturer & Business Association’s Eggs ‘n’ Issues briefing on Wednesday, March 19, at the Association’s Conference Center.
The speakers, who are both on Career Street’s advisory board, explained how the program will unite employers, schools and nonprofit organizations in the pursuit of developing a well-prepared future work force while better preparing students for the careers they want.
