A 3,000-square-foot expansion was expected to be completed in July at the Fairview, Pennsylvania location of Maxpro Technologies production and warehouse facility.
“Marcellus shale gas activity, as well as other shale activity throughout North America has impacted our business as Maxpro provides hydrostatic test equipment for recertifying the Frac Iron used on hydraulic fracturing of horizontal wells,” said Maxpro’s President Paul Bowser. “Additionally, the need to expand is to provide assembly and warehouse space for some of the newer products introduced over the past two years.”
Total square footage of the production/warehouse area after the addition is approximately 9,500 square feet.
