Lanzillo Installed as 2015 Erie County Bar Association President

Richard A. Lanzillo has been installed as the 2015 president of the Erie County Bar Association (ECBA). His presidency, which took effect January 1, 2015, was announced at the ECBA Annual Meeting on December 4, 2014 at Lake Shore Country Club.

The Erie County Bar Association serves the lawyers, judges and the public of Erie County, Pennsylvania by assisting members in the practice of law and by engaging in activities that promote the public’s understanding of and respect for the American system of law and justice.

Lanzillo currently serves as the vice president of Knox (since 2007). He has extensive experience in complex commercial, employment and civil rights litigation and appellate practice. He has lectured extensively on state and federal trial and appellate practice, as well as municipal, labor and commercial law topics.

Lanzillo is admitted to practice before the state courts of Pennsylvania and several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third, Ninth and Federal Circuits. He also regularly serves as a mediator and neutral evaluator in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
