ERIE – The Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) today announced that its 111th Annual Event is sold out. This year’s event, which is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, at the Bayfront Convention Center (BCC), marks the 17th consecutive year that the tri-state’s premier business networking event has been a sellout. All media are invited to attend.
More than 1,500 business and community leaders are expected to attend the Annual Event, which features Robert Herjavec, star of the hit TV show, “Shark Tank” and chief executive officer of Herjavec Group, a global IT security firm. The company is recognized as a worldwide leader in information security specializing in managed security services, compliance, incident response and remediation efforts for enterprise-level organizations.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response from our membership about having Mr. Herjavec as this year’s keynote speaker,” said Tammy Polanski, director of Marketing for the MBA. “It’s definitely going to be a night to remember as we dive into our own version of the ‘Tank’ and explore the business strategies that have made Mr. Herjavec and his investments so successful.”
This year, the Annual Event follows the 2016 Manufacturing Day celebration held earlier that day — from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. — at the BCC. As a special addition to the event, guests at the Annual Event Member Reception, which starts at 5 p.m., will be able to enjoy many of the exciting manufacturing and technology-related exhibits from the MFG Day event in the Exhibit Hall.
