Strategic HR, Employment Law & Wellness Focus of MBA’s 2016 HR & Employment Law Conference

ERIE – Local human resource professionals will come together for a full day of thought-provoking presentations and networking opportunities during the Manufacturer & Business Association’s (MBA) fourth annual Human Resources & Employment Law Conference starting at 8:15 a.m. Friday, October 21, at the Association’s Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street at Pittsburgh Avenue. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. All media are invited to attend.

The day’s discussion will focus on the “7 Myths & 7 Skills for Strategic HR,” employment law updates, as well as wellness and generational differences in the workplace. Additionally, highly acclaimed speakers Scott Warrick, JD, MLHR, CEQC, SHRM-SCP, one of Business First Magazine’s “20 People to Know in HR” and Michael D. Parkinson, MD, MPH, FACPM, Senior Medical Director for Health and Productivity for UPMC Health Plan and WorkPartners, will deliver the day’s keynotes. Local attorneys Daniel Miller, Esq., and John Persinger, Esq., of MacDonald Illig Attorneys, and Lisa DeFilippo and Tracy Daggett of the Manufacturer & Business Association, also will present.
