MBA’s 2019 HR & Employment Law Conference is Sold Out

ERIE — Local human resource (HR) professionals will come together for a full day of thought-provoking presentations and networking opportunities, during the Manufacturer & Business Association’s (MBA) sold-out HR & Employment Law Conference starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, at the Association’s Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street at Pittsburgh Avenue. Registration begins at 8 a.m. All media are invited to attend.

The day’s discussion will focus on topics critical to the HR field, such as creating and growing an engaged culture in the workplace, how to handle difficult conversations and manage multitasking, as well as emerging laws in LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) rights and other employment law updates. Additionally, highly acclaimed speakers Jason Barger of Step Back Leadership Consulting will deliver the day’s keynote address. Local attorneys Daniel Miller and Jamie Schumacher of MacDonald Illig Attorneys, and Julia Herzing of Knox Law, and contract training instructor Meghan Duda, Ph.D., and Lisa DeFilippo, a training specialist at the Manufacturer & Business Association, also will present.
