ERIE — Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center will host the 2022 Alessi, Levan, Kebles Forum: Virtual Diversity Summit on July 20 stimulating transformational conversations among human service providers, community leaders, and consumers related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The event is free.
Admiral Rachel Levine, M.D., U.S. assistant secretary for Health will deliver opening remarks. Dr. Isaiah Pickens of iOpening Enterprises will provide the Keynote Address.
Workshop Topics include:
- Developing a culturally sensitive organization,
- Identifying and Managing Unconscious Bias,
- Introduction to Sexual Identity and Gender Expression,
- Cultural Competency in Treatment Issues,
- Promoting Mental Health Awareness and Emotional Wellness with Teen International.
