What is your approach to business growth?
MAJR’s key to growth over the past several years has been based on taking advantage of opportunities that have come before us that are in our core manufacturing competencies but outside of our standard product mix. This means for us looking at opportunities that are not standard products but products that we have the technical and engineering capabilities to manufacture that fit within equipment and manufacturing capabilities we current have or capabilities that we can modify to produce different products. Our other key factor has been the ongoing effort on both our website and home pages to keep them current and consistently monitor these internet sites for adjustments as necessary. More and more of our business is coming from engineering people who see us on the internet first and request information or products to quote.
What do you credit for your organization’s success?
Our organizations success comes from the people who work at MAJR every day. We have been fortunate to have hired people who come in to work, that want to work and that want to get ahead. We establish realistic goals and objectives each year and work very hard to monitor and make adjustments to sales and manufacturing areas as necessary. We also take a longer term view of business where we are constantly looking out 3 to 5 years to see where our markets are going and where and how we need to structure ourselves internally.
