ERIE – Decision Associates M&A, LLC, recently added Time Machine, a specialty machining company based in Polk, Pa., to a growing list of clients that have engaged the mergers and acquisitions consulting firm to support growth plans via acquisition. Time Machine asked Decision Associates M&A to find a company with a proprietary product and componentry that would match their own specialty machining processes. That ideal fit was Greater Erie-based Skinner Power Systems LLC, a small company, located at 8214 Edinboro Road, focused on engineering and manufacturing steam turbines that have been in use around the world for more than 100 years.
According to Don Moore, managing partner in Decision Associates M&A, Time Machine and Skinner core capabilities are very complementary. In addition, both companies are based in western Pennsylvania and committed to sustaining opportunities for their employees and the communities in which they live.
