ERIE – Zeyon, Inc. recently announced that the company has obtained two noteworthy certifications: National Women’s Business Enterprise Certification (WBEC) and Woman Owned Small Business Certification (WOSB). Zeyon is a small job shop manufacturer in the ASME code pressure vessel industry that celebrated its 50-year anniversary in 2018.
“Operating a business in today’s industrial climate is difficult, regardless of gender,” states Zeyon President and CEO Dianne Porter. “We must utilize every advantage available in order to compete in a challenging global environment. This does not diminish our male owners and/or workforce in any way. I have always considered myself a business owner, not a business woman.”
With these certifications comes the possibility of additional projects and opportunities for growth in the manufacturing arena. “Our customers believe that Zeyon having these certifications and being a preferred supplier will help their businesses to procure more work.”
Zeyon designs and manufactures ASME code (and non-code) pressure vessels, tanks, stirred reactor systems, air / gas ducts, piping and miscellaneous metal fabrication. The company also custom builds and designs solutions for a wide variety of industries – some of which include research and development, energy, biotechnology and general construction.
