Pagliari Named President of Erie County Bar Association

ERIE – Attorney Nicholas R. Pagliari of MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton, LLP took over duties as president of the Erie County Bar Association, effective January 1, 2021. Pagliari, a graduate of McDowell High School, The Pennsylvania State University and the University of Dayton School of Law, is heading into his role with several key objectives including: focusing on ECBA members’ financial and mental well-being during the pandemic; expanding community outreach; and finding new ways to provide our members with additional value for their membership dollars. 

Attorney Pagliari is an active member of the Erie County Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Bar Foundation. He is also one of the founding members and past president of the Judith K. Fitzgerald Bankruptcy Inn of Court. The American Inns of Court inspire the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education and mentoring.

The Erie County Bar Association is a not-for-profit professional association whose members are attorneys and judges in Erie County, Pennsylvania. The ECBA assists members in the practice of law by providing educational opportunities, programs, and services to facilitate the practice of law. The association also provides assistance to the public, particularly through its Lawyer Referral and Information Service.
