ERIE – Walker Filtration recently announced that Simon P. Taylor has been appointed to the role of general manager of Walker Filtration Inc. as of April 2022.
He supersedes Richard P. Taylor, former president and general manager, who recently retired after 32 years with Walker Filtration Group and will continue to serve as a part-time consultant on behalf of the company, specializing in business and acquisition endeavors.
Steve Bittle, group general manager of Walker Filtration, notes that, “Simon brings a wealth of experience to Walker Filtration, including an exceptionally strong commercial background and impressive industry and product knowledge.”
Simon Taylor has been an employee of Walker Filtration for 12 years, eight of which were spent as the general sales manager of Walker Filtration Inc. Within his original position, he was able to develop a strong sales background and product knowledge.
